Was a cleaner for the company and there were extremely un-transparent about the requirements. There was a deposit of 100 dollars to be made, together with 35 dollars of registration / listing fees. They advertised themselves as being "entirely flexible" with Cleaners' time preferences. Later on they insisted that we do at least 6 hours of cleaning a week, otherwise we would have to be taken off the platform. I joined the platform on the premise that I would do only one-time jobs given my very variable schedule (which they said was perfectly fine, but later turned down my friend for the very same reason).

Out of the 20 or 22 dollars per hour they charge, Cleaners only take 16 dollars per hour. Super high commission taken from both parties, but play very passive and unfriendly roles in coordination.

Additionally, customers are allowed to cancel for free up to 24hours before the assignment- leaving Cleaners with less than forecasted / planned income; not the best policy for those relying on this for full, or even part-time income.

In summary, customers and Cleaners both have a terrible experience with them.

You mean we need to fork out $135 altogether before working for them? It should be the company paying the worker not the other way round! This is a first & it is so ridiculous.

In Singapore, nothing is for free. And Maybe you wish to view the process from business prospective instead. :)

If we are buying something/service/goods, of course its not free & we have to pay for it. But paying to get a job is ridiculous.

This is a first that a worker needs to pay the company for work. What a scammer
